SUPPORTING MENTAL HEALTH IN NZ

Ready to take on a new challenge, improve your fitness and do your bit to support mental wellbeing in NZ? Move for Mental Health starts Monday 16th March, and we’re donating ALL proceeds to I Am Hope – New Zealand’s youth and community focused support group.

Studies show a strong correlation between physical activity and greater mental wellbeing, so we’re on a mission to encourage Kiwi women to prioritise their physical and mental health while raising awareness and funds.

It clears my head especially after a big day at work and if I do it in the morning it gets the good endorphins going for a positive day ahead and generally curve balls don’t effect me as much. I also find I sleep sooooo well.

~Davinia Leipst

I do my DediKate workouts first thing in the morning and I find that it lifts my motivation for the day, gives me so much more energy and I feel more positive throughout the day.

~Sarah Smith

It gives me such a sense of satisfaction that I’ve prioritised time for myself and my well being. I love the support and motivation of DediKate. Plus Kate, you are so relatable and explain things in such a good way. The one that sticks in my head lately is that if you need to pause it’s because you’ve worked hard, not because you are failing. That was massive for me!

~ Tanya Copeland

Exercise always puts me in a great mood without fail. Especially important on those days that feel like groundhog day with two little ones.

~ Nicole Phillips

Satisfaction that I have made myself a priority, even if only for a few minutes a day. Exercise puts me in a great mood to deal with the many challenges/ frustrations I get everyday in my job.

~ Alex Clarkson

Allows me to have that time to myself so that I can re focus on what’s important and what’s not!

~ Felicity Goodfellow

I am loving the mental health benefits! I originally started out with DediKate to lose weight and get stronger. Whilst I am certainly succeeding in that respect (still a wee way to go), I underestimated the other positives like more energy to get through the day. A stronger sense of focus and clarity. As my physical appearance is changing, I’m gaining more confidence in myself and my self esteem increasing.
I am proud that I have taken action and am proud that I am now motivated to keep going. 20 minutes a morning is all it takes to feel amazing!

~ Jala Clarke

I Have two small kids full time and having this group and the exercise sessions makes me feel like I have something just for me and it’s making me feel more confident as I get my body back in shape and a great de stress if there’s a hard day

~ Kelsie Ridge

I have found since starting DediKate I’m feeling more positive in the way that I look at myself. It’s a little bit of ‘me time’ that leaves me feeling more energised and productive after each workout. Never before have I wanted to work out as much as I do now

~ Harriet Constance Scarlett Bremner

It gives me a release with my grief and helps me feel like I’m in control of something. I feel invigorated and more powerful after working out and as though I have put myself first for something in my day.

~ Mary McKenzie

I don’t even know where to start! Because of Dedikate I am the happiest I’ve been for years. I feel empowered to put myself first for just 30 mins at a time, 4 times a week! Kate’s motivation and encouragement helps me see my efforts as important. Being part of the support group is like having a new group of friends who are like minded and there through the ups and downs. I recommend and sing the praises of Dedikate at least once a week to someone!!!
