Let’s Focus on What We CAN Do!

It’s an uncertain time in New Zealand, and around the rest of the world, right now. Being in lockdown and self-isolation can feel scary – but being physically isolated at home doesn’t have to mean being emotionally isolated from friends, family, and a great support network, or stuck at home on the couch.

It may take us all a little adjusting to the ‘new normal’, but let’s focus on what we CAN do right now! We CAN call our loved ones to check in and have a yarn. We CAN spend extra time with our children and kick a ball around in the backyard. We CAN jump online and connect with like-minded women and share stories and tips about life at home. And we CAN take time out for ourselves and get moving to support our physical and emotional wellbeing.

That’s what this super-simple, FREE 14-day challenge is all about, and why – for the first time ever – we’re inviting ALL New Zealand women (not just DediKate members) to connect and take part.

The #ICANCHALLENGE is easy to take part in, focusing on 3 basic exercises (squats, sit ups and push ups) and starting small – increasing reps little by little, day by day – making it suitable for ALL fitness levels.

It’s just our way of spreading a little joy during an otherwise trying time.
