DEDIKATE WITH A MATE 8-Week Challenge

Fitness is more fun with friends – and working out with a buddy is a great way to stay focused in winter! DediKate with a Mate is all about setting and smashing goals with a partner, and introducing a little friendly competition to up the ante on your motivation and dedikation!

For this challenge, you’ll partner up with a friend. It could be one of your besties, a workmate, a neighbour, that Mum you always chat with during school pickup, or someone from the Kate Ivey Fitness Support Group on Facebook. You’ll work out as a team, compete against one another for points, AND work together to win prizes!

Compete: Decide what’s at stake at the start of the challenge (shouting the winner dinner or a massage voucher are great options!) and compete against your buddy for workout points.

Work Together: Choose a combined goal at the start of the challenge and talk at least once a week to encourage each other towards that goal. It could be anything you both want to improve on – from working out at least 4x a week, to both being able to achieve a 2-minute wall sit by the end of the 8-weeks
