Find out all about Billie below:
“Hi, I’m Billie and I live in the beautiful Bay of Plenty with my fiancée, Tim. We love living in Tauranga and it suits our current lifestyle, although we have a dream of one day moving to a more rural setting where we can live sustainably, grow our own food and have a slower paced lifestyle.
In my own time I love reading, spending time with my family and friends, organic gardening, travel, running and crafts.
My philosophy on health is quite simple – be kind to your body. I believe in a holistic approach to health, eating whole foods, incorporating lots of fruit and veggies into your diet and eating organic wherever possible. I believe in exercising at least three times a week if you can, but also not being too hard on yourself when life gets in the way.
I fell in love with yoga around 6 years ago when I became ill with Coeliac Disease. It was a long road to recovery and yoga was a lifeline for me during that difficult period. Having experienced first hand the benefits of a daily yoga practice I traveled to India to learn to teach, I completed a 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and haven’t looked back. I also completed a 50 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training on my return to New Zealand in 2017.
I have taught at various studios but can’t tell you how excited I am to be joining the DediKate team and having the opportunity to share my love of yoga with all you amazing ladies.
I can’t wait to see you on the mat.”
