“Fitness has always been an important part of my life. When I fell pregnant with my first child I was a month away from running my third marathon with a goal to complete it under 4 hours. Of course all training stopped and I attended the marathon as a spectator instead.
Life changed a lot from this point including my fitness. I went from exercising for around an hour most mornings to doing the odd little jog while pushing a pram. After falling pregnant with my second I stopped all fitness again.
I gave birth to my second munchkin in May this year and even if I wasn’t sleep deprived and exhausted (which I was) I didn’t have the time to set aside a good chunk of time to exercise each week.
I had been following Kate’s social media pages for a while and was in awe of how healthy and fit she looked while knowing she also had young kiddies and a business to run. If anything was going to help me feel inspired and re-prioritise my health then she was!
My goal wasn’t to lose weight but instead to regain my fitness and the energy that comes with it. What I love about the DediKate program is it’s not easy, the sessions are short but I know I’ve done a solid workout once completed. I also know if I complete each session during the week then I’m working all areas of my body which has done wonders for the post baby wobbley bits.
